Alexandra, unique set you have here. I really enjoy number 3, the techniques you used to edit this photograph really made a vintage look come through. The piano keys are lovely as is, and the angle you chose to shoot this photo with really gives you a different perspective. Number 10 is my POW, I really like the contrast between the stairs/hallway and the person in the image. Photograph 6 is really mysterious, i'm not sure what exactly you have shot here but it turned out to be a nice picture that could be interpreted in many different ways through the viewer. Nice work.
Hey Alexandra- This set accurately captures a vintage quality. I really enjoy the grunginess in all of them, especially numbers 4 and 6. Their obscure subject matter is so peculiar. I want to see them next to one another on a wall. I agree with Jordan that Number 10 is pretty cool- self portrait perhaps? I love the relationship between the empty stairway and the dark figure in the lower corner. It is definitely mysterious. I vote numbers 4 and 6 and pow!
My only qualm about the set are the filters. Did you use snap-seed for these photos? When I used snap seed I tended to tune down the texture strength. Otherwise your photos really feel like they were really taken in the past! You've chosen pretty timeless subjects. Good job
Hey 3 is my favorite. I feel that these pictures really do seem to be old. Right off the bat the old camera already had me thinking that these photos were shot with something like that. Overall good set I really enjoyed your photos for this critique.
