  1. Hey Ryan-
I sense a narrative in this colorful set of photos! I noticed a gradual descending angle with each photograph- very clever. Was it intentional? It's pretty cool! It feels as if the viewer is on the journey. Your self-portraits have a contemporary painterly form which is intriguing to translate between mediums. This set's warm tones and glowing forms suggest a nostalgic ambience, and I really enjoyed the linear patterns that continued throughout the set. The repeating lines in the varying subject matter kept the flow within the set. Nice content-bleed! My favorites are #2 and #3. They would be an interesting duplet. 2 and 3 for pow!

  2. Hey Ryan,
Interesting set of photographs here! Overall, this set feels like an adventure to me. Through the images I can see you exploring different parts of the city. You use some cool angles, I like in the first few how you chose the aerial view. Although you are exploring with different angles I like how there are always some linear lines in the frame somewhere, it creates a nice flow through the set.

Number 7 is my pow. It reminds me of a tree that used to be in my backyard that my brother and I used to climb. It is a great childhood memory and I enjoy how this image brings back that feeling for me. Good job!

  3. Hey Ryan, i really enjoy number 6. So that'll be my vote for POW. I just really like the angle that leads the fence all the way down to the center of the shot until we cant really see it anymore. Another reason i like it is because i find myself experimenting with this angle as well. Nice job.

  4. Nice photo set. I love how bright they are and how colorful, even though a lot of them are more neutral/natural fall colors. My favorite is # 3. I love the lines and angles you have here- they are very clean cut. Although I do not get much of a vintage/memory feel from this photo set, you have managed to capture some good shots.

  5. Hey, Ryan.

I wish you had edited the photos more and played with some filters. I did like how you captured some architecture. I would continue with that theme!

  6. Ryan -

Nice set of pictures this week! You utilized a lot of interesting angles this time. For POW I am picking number 3 because of the interesting perspective and lines.
