  1. Breanna, my favorite photo of yours is #2. The perspective is great and I like that you can't see where the ladder leads which is very mysterious. The source of light at the top leads your eye up there and makes you wonder. Your self portrait #7 is also pretty interesting because everything is abstracted and just blends together but you can still make out the general shape of your face. Nice job!

  2. Hey Breanna-
You have some gorgeous photographs here! Number one serves an intriguing introduction with an ominous cityscape, and number two follows up perfectly. The ladder image is like a scene out of a horror movie. I really like number three's industrial content and soft quality- love the chrome! You also have some really nice photographs of leaves that could be a mini set. Interesting exposure play in number 7- it gives this one a painterly look to it. My favorite is number 3. I can't stop going back to it- 3 for POdubbs!

  3. Breanna, I really enjoyed your photographs this week! First, both of your self portraits are very unique. I love number 7, really awesome that you have to really search this photo to see what it entails. You and Kandi used similar techniques! My attention gets shifted when looking at number 5 - totally not sure if this is the ground or the ceiling, even with the hint of the light. I enjoy how you have switched up the angle of most of your shots to give the viewer a different perspective, specifically in photo's 15,12, and 13. My POW would have to agree with Breanna and vote for number 2. I really like how this photograph fits the topic and you've used some great technique from the angle to the editing. I also am fascinated with number 3, where is this, it gives me a sense that I have been here or somewhere very similar before. Nice work!

  4. Nice photo set. I really get a vintage vibe from these photos. I particularly like # 3. The lines are attractive and has such a sense of mystery: I still don't know what I'm looking at and that is great, trying to figure it out. It also has a nice vintage feel. Most of your photos make me wonder what memory exists here as they transport you to that realm that this is older than the present. Great work.

  5. Breanna, These photos are phenomenal. You seem to capture quiet moments. Your photos are never too loud or overwhelming but they draw the audience in and causes them to think.

My favorite would have to 12. I love the composition of and it reminds me of this time of year, right before winter where everything is silent.

  6. Hi Breanna,

I really enjoyed your photos from this critique. You seem to always have very intriguing photos for us to look at and I am really jealous about that. That being said, it is hard to pick a POW. I really thought my POW for you would be photo #2 or photo #3 because they are very vintage settings. But after looking at your photos longer, my POW for you would have to be photo #7. Great work again! Keep on taking photos!

  7. 15 is my favorite from the set. I think that you produced a really great set of photos for this segment and you did really well editing to get the vintage look. I just like the extended sight and the colors in 15 so it stood out to me a lot.
