  1. Jordan, I want to compliment you on how you organized your photos. As I went through it was like a visual journey. Your titles go well with your photos and your photos transition nicely from one to the next. I was looking for the photo to vote your photo of the year and all of a sudden it stuck out to me. I decided on the fifth photo down in your embrace chapter. For some reason this photo stuck out to me that it should be your POY.
I think it is the mystery a sense from it. I look at it and I can't help but want to know more about this scene. The way you edited it is beautifully done and captures the audiences attention. The colors contact without it appearing over saturated.
I enjoyed many of your photos throughout the semester (especially the ones of nature). Overall, really nice job!

  2. Jordan, you have done a wonderful job throughout this semester. I enjoy your portfolio very much! And, I can see that you've been on quiet the adventure since the last topic. I love seeing all the new photographs here. As for your Photo of the Year, one of your new additions is my vote. That would be the first one under your explore chapter. I am just drawn to the color and texture. It almost looks as if it were taken from a film camera. The way you were able to capture the sun spilling over the horizon of the landscape aids in creating a vintage feel. Combined with your editing of the color and texture, you captured it beautifully.

    Great job this semester!

  3. Jordan first off great set of photos for the final portfolio! My personal favorite and POY vote comes from the chapter Excite, I really like the sunflower photo. The color and the detail make this photo bold and stand out to me. This photo had my attention the entire set, I felt distracted looking at the rest, waiting to go back and look at it again. The brown, gold, red, of the flower really stands out against all the vegetation in the background. I have really enjoyed your work throughout the semester, I think you consistently did a great job producing work of high quality.

  4. Great semester of photos and an even better final portfolio! My favorite this year and my vote for FOY will have to be the slow shutter shot of the train going by. I understand mass transit is on the cliche list but its just so cool to me! it was perfect. it looks like a silver bullet speeding by and you can see right through it. nice job

  5. Hi Jordan,
I really enjoyed your work this semester! I admire your organization of the photographs and unique color palette. I really enjoy your minimally toned photographs. My favorite is the fourth down in the chapter "Embrace". This is a really terrific shot. I love that I'm looking through an opening in some kind of rough textured wall. I feel like I'm somewhere I should not be peering into another world. The tonality in this one is breathtaking. Really nice job!

  6. Jordan,
Your portfolio was one of the firsts that I went to because I remembered really liking your work all semester. For your final portfolio, I really loved your chapter "Explore". It took me to places that I've never been, and colors in the photos are beautiful, but not too over-saturated. I'm going to have to go with #1 in "Explore" for your POY. Not only is it a beautiful scene, but it reminds me of a postcard, and I love the way you edited. It encouraged a feeling of wanderlust for me. Great job this semester!

  7. Jordan, I'll be repetitive in saying that your photos were always ones that I looked forward to throughout the semester. Awesome job! I thin you really aptly named your titles. I liked the assonance. My favorite photo has to be the second of the explore section. It really captures your eye. Again, great job!

  8. You're entire collection is gorgeous. You have produced so many high quality photos it's hard to select one as a favorite. If I absolutely have to pick, I would say the 2nd photo in the Explore chapter. It really is a magnificent shot. Great job Jordan!

  9. Jordan,
I really enjoyed looking at your photos throughout the semester. Your have very interesting titles here that maker the viewer stop and have a more emotional connection to the images. I think my favorite chapter was "explore" it just had such beautiful views and great color. For your POY I am going to pick the second picture in the explore chapter. It is a really strong image and I think it really added to your chapter as a whole. Great job this semester!

  10. Jordan -

I really enjoyed looking through your collection and it is hard for me to pick a favorite photo. My vote for POY however is going to the 2nd picture in the Explore chapter. I love the way the sunlight is bursting over the top of the rocks.

  11. Jordan,
Your portfolio is really well organized and does a nice job of displaying your overall work this semester. My POY definitely goes to photo 4 in the chapter Take Back . I love the mist in the picture; it makes me feel like I am there. I love how the waterfall is in the middle of the picture, it really makes the photo pop and shows off natures beauty. Overall, nice photographs this semester!

  12. Jordan,
Your portfolio was very eclectic and I really enjoyed looking at all your new photos, as well. It was hard for me to pick a POY for you because a lot of them were so pleasing for me to look at. For you POY, I would have to with the first photo of the Embrace album. Great work this year!
