Hey Sarah awesome set of photos you have here, I'm going to stick with a photo from seeing the past with the cannon. I voted on this as your POW a little while back and now it has my vote for POY. I love the colors and the simplicity of the photo but also the contrast in the colors. The way the tree works into the sky behind it. I think the framing of the photo also adds some cool effect, overall your collection of shots was awesome and I love the work that you produced this semester. You're certainly very talented!
Excellent job here sarah! I just love the panorama slow shutter photo of the bike rider! im not sure if this is a new shot or not but regardless it has my vote for your photo of the year. The fact that you were able to successfully get a nice panorama AND a cool slow shutter is fantastic. Well done!
Hi Sarah, I think my favorite photo of yours is the 4th in Seeing the Past. I love the how the clouds look and you captured a really great long panorama. It looks slightly ominous, but it's just a really beautiful shot!
Your first 3 photos in this portfolio are really great! They are good black/white photos and look like film photos which gives it a nice vibe. You have a lot of diverse content in your portfolio which is great. I enjoy a lot of these. My vote for POY would be number 3 in your first set. I love the film quality this has. Good job
Hi Sarah, I really enjoyed your work this semester! You have some really unique photographs here and a beautiful flow of work. I really admire your panoramic work. I think that you truly mastered this function of the camera. I vote number one as POY. It is such a fascinating rendering if a seemingly organic material. Really great work this semester!
Sarah, awesome photos. I am not sure how I am going to pick you POY because many of them are so strong. I like the titles that you gave your chapters. The seeing in the past really stood out to me because after reading the title I feel like I viewed the photos a little differently which I really enjoyed. In "seeing simplistically" I loved the leaf on the ground. The colors in it are great and the way that the background is out of focus adds great emotion into the shot. For your POY I think I am going to pick the one of the high heel. This shot just really makes me have to stop and think. I think the lines in it are contrasted so well and I love that you made it in black and white. Great job this semester, I loved looking at all of your photos!
I love your photos. You did a really great job this semester. I especially enjoy your panorama shots. My vote for POY goes to number 3 in Seeing the Past. I believe that I previously voted this as my POW and I still really love looking at it. Great composition and lighting.
Sarah, Your portfolio is really well organized and displays your work really beautifully. My POY goes to photo 6 in your Seeing The Past chapter. I love how you chose to make the photo B&W it really makes the picture feel more emotional. The effortlessness of the subject really relates to the simplicity in your other chapter and I think that shows you have a complete sense of style for photography. Overall, really nice photos throughout the semester!
