Great use of vertical panoramas in this set. my favorites are 3 and 12. 12 looks like is a full vertical 360, so that really caught my eye and it will be my vote for this crits POW
Chelsea- I am loving your playful style and content! You have got some really intriguing photos here that I just want to steal. Number 3 is blew my mind. The circular panoramic form and the bird's eye view is out of the world (literally). You really mastered this one. Nice. The playground setting was a daring move in photography and you pulled it off nicely by including "extended views". Number 17 is my favorite of all your self-portraits, yet it still has that zany zest! Really great stuff this round!! And of course, I vote number 3 as POW.
Chelsea, I really like the way you captured the idea of "extended seeing." My favorite was #3. What kind of app or technique did you use? I really like how it kinda transforms the city into viewing as your whole world. It also makes me wonder what creates the frame of lines? I really stared at this photo for a while, and to me, that's one thing that really makes it a great photo- by capturing the audience's attention. Great job on this set!
Chelsea - I really like your photos, great work with capturing number 3. This is most definitely my POW, I am dying to know how you did this!! The majority of your photographs draw my attention in by their color and "alive-ness". I really like the photograph of the soccer feet, It deviates away from the typical photos that everyone has posted this week. I also took a picture very similar to your train shot. I had so much difficulty finding appropriate ways to utilize slow shutter speed. I had never even heard of what it was before.
#3 is such a great shot! I'm really wondering how you were able to capture this, but I also kind of don't want to know because it's so mysterious. I think it would be great for your POW because I'm sure a lot of us are wondering how you were able to pull this off! #7 is also interesting because the tree extends past the edges of the tall and skinny frame. Nice job.
My vote for POW of the week is #3. It really caught my eye and kept my attention for sometime. You really made an interesting choice with that one. I would have love to see you take more chances like that one. Great job, though.
Hi Chealsea, #3 is definitely a mystery. I too, am wonder how it is you were able to achieve that. I vote it as your POW, as well. Your photos as a whole for this critique seem to be very "real", as in nothing was really staged and you were capturing photos in the moment. Your panoramas are really fun to look at, especially #9 & #13. Good job
You did a great job on all of your photographs this week! I love all of the different panoramas that you did. Number 3 is my vote for POW. I would love to know how you took that shot - it has such an interesting composition!
Hi Chelsea, I enjoyed all of your photos but my absolute favorite is #3. I am so confused how you composed this image; it is so interesting and intriguing! So many elements to the photograph I’m not sure where to start. My eye is immediately drawn to the middle of the picture because the ropes create leading lines. Next I see the skyline around the perimeter of the tree, so neat! Next I see the outskirts of the picture, a subtle blue sky with some white fluffy clouds. Really great abstract way of extended seeing.
Chelsea, I think my personal favorite has to be 7. I love this time of year because of the awesome colors and i think you did a great job capturing them as well as adding a cool dynamic with the panoramic shot. It adds a cool effect having the ground, the tree, and what looks to be a tree behind you as well. A lot of great photos this week, good job.
Photo #2 and Photo #14 were both my favorites. I like the realism and simplicity of both of them. I also wanted to say how much I like how your panoramas are vertical instead of horizontal. It's a really cool look.
