  1. cool set you put together here! a lot of interesting slow shutter and self portraits. My vote for POW would have to be number 14 because its at night but it still captures some interesting colors and light with the slow shutter

  2. Your set is very abstract and I’m seeing a bit of a theme of primary colors (red, blue, yellow) which is tying your set together. I like that you used a lot of slow shutter speed, but I think it could be interesting to try shooting stationary and focusing on something that’s moving past you. I like #3 because of the yellow color of the street light and the mysterious light trail that appears further down the road.

  3. I see you focused more on experimenting with exposure than extended seeing. I would like to see some panoramas, you could use some diversity especially with this assignment. I don't know what is going on with #10 but there's something about it I enjoy. I'll vote that one for your POW. Overall I would say just try to push yourself more with the assignments.

  4. Unfortunately I didn't really get the feeling of extended seeing in this set of photos. Most of the photos i assume were using a slow shutter speed app but the whole picture came out blurred. It would have been nice and more visually appealing if something in the image was stationary for a reference point. my pow will be 9 because it looks as though a cup had been moved in the picture and gives it a fun vibe. Not bad but I think you could experiment a lot more and test more panoramas.

  5. Hi Alexandra! I would have to agree with Chelsea & David. I would have liked to see you experimenting more with different techniques and apps in achieving "extended seeing". Most of your photos do seem to be focused on the slow shutter but, there is a lot of blur, not enough detail to make this set more diverse, you know? I'm gonna jump on with Chelsea and say that #9 is my vote for the POW, as well. You succeeded in implementing a slow shutter speed, with the ghost of a hand putting down the middle cup. Very nice

  6. Alexandra -

My POW from your collection is number 14. I am definitely curious to see how you used slow shutter speed to produce this image. I really enjoyed the colors in this photograph.

  7. Alexandra my favorite from your set has to be 14 im really not even sure what it is. The slow shutter speed aspect makes it look really cool along with some pretty cool colors that were created. I agree with the other that some diversity would be good, none the less i enjoyed your set, good job!

  8. I think my favorite photo for the week in this set would be number 1. i like the slow shutter effect as it makes the contrast of colors pretty interesting. I like how the red and blue in the pic fuse together to create a purple that isn't there. Pretty mysterious in that I cannot really tell what it is a photo of, yet the colors running together make it stand out.

  10. Alexandra-
Overall, nice work! My POW is number 9. At first you don't see the hand because your focused so much on the other red cups, but you got the shutter speed just right to make it visible. Really unique, didn't see anything like this in any other sets. Try to avoid campus pictures as the professor keeps reminding us that its a cliche :)
