You've got some really great panoramic shots here, Jordan. I would have to say though, that my favorite it definitely number 18, it is different from every other panoramic shot you did. It's not your typical panoramic. The way you angled the framing is a great use of distortion. We know that you are walking along a bridge, that the level is straight, there isn't anything peculiar, yet the panoramic view distorts the bridge making look as if you're just about to drop off of it. It bends subject matter which in turn bends our perspective. We would never see the bridge like this with our naked eye. Great job with that.
Hello Jordan, I really like your panoramas! My favorites are #1 and #18. They are both aesthetically pleasing but I think 18 has more of a story behind it. You get this feeling from the content, subject and technique. When I look at it I feel somewhat nervous about the steep hill you appear to be standing on. (Its really awesome how you created this look through the panorama). This photo plays tricks with my eyes as I wonder if it is safe for you to move forward. The colors in this photo are very harmonious and natural, they play well together. The fact that you are wearing green balances the top and bottom of the pano. This photo is very well done technically and is one of the more unique panos I have seen yet. Great Job!
Hi Jordan, I am not sure if this is going to post twice, my computer is being a bit crazy. Your panoramas are great and I see you liked them as much as I did. But my pic of the week for your photos would be #19. I tried so hard to work with shutter speed and failed time and again. Great job!!!
You have some really striking photographs. The panoramas are great! I'm actually having a hard time picking a POW because they're all awesome. I'm going to go with #13 because it's so vibrant and the falling water is gorgeous. Nice job!
Great use of the panoramas.I know i had a little trouble finding some good space to use, so seeing your pano's was refreshing and gives me hope!! My favorite pano is number 4, i love seeing that stadium in the background, reminds me of my high school, maybe it is! But my vote for POW would have to go with your self portrait at number 7 because you were able to use slow shutter too!! good job
Jordan! i love the feel of all of your photos. You utilize light in such a great way and you can tell that you love to be outside and take photos of nature. I enjoyed your panoramas especially numbers 9 and 15. The way you captured two sides of a sidewalk that were split by a fence is very intriguing to the eye and I found myself looking at it for awhile. For the slow shutter speed, even though septa is over used (I did it as well) I loved how in number 19 the train seems to be almost transparent. Evidence that it was once there but has now began to move on. Also I love your portraits! the one were there is two of you in the images is cool, I have been seeing many people do this but have no idea how it is done, I'm looking forward for the recipes. I would have to vote number 15 as my favorite for this set. Great job I love looking at all of these!
Jordan, You have a really great set here! It was a tough decision, but I like #13. The repetition of theme through the water is what really makes the photo. It would not have the same effect if it wasn't a panoramic photo. It also has a great use of natural color. At first look, it's a little abstract, but still recognizable once you really look at it. Great job!
Hey Jordan I'm going to go with number 18 as my favorite because it is awesome. It separates itself from what you would normally see in regards to panoramic shots which makes it unique. You had a lot of great shots involving nature etc. You also did well with the shutter speed photos which I found to be a challenge and was pretty unsuccessful with, so congrats on that. Also I agree with Chelsea with the portrait with two of you in the same image, not sure how its done but it looks cool!
You have some cool landscapes in this post. #3 is my favorite out of all of these. I think you did a job with framing your compositions. Some of these are a little over saturated but that could be due to the different effects with the exposure and what not for this assignment. I think #3's colors are great and the extended view of the clouds looks sick. Also #18 is a pretty great self portrait. Good idea. It's nice to see some experimenting with the selfies. Overall nice stuff.
Hey, I love the sceneries you have in these photos. My favorite photo is photo 17. I love how you warped the shape of the building. I think the photos can be less saturated. Great job!
Hi Jordan! You have some really awesome photos here. The panoramas are really eye catching and sharp. Although they are very vibrant in color I think they still work really well. A few of my favorites are; 1, 7, 13, and 18. I feel that all of these photos met the criteria for this topic of Extended seeing. But my POW goes to 11. This photo is so whimsical and mysterious looking. The slowed shutter speed and lighting together create this magical lighting, which makes the book look very special. Great job Jordan!
Wow. You're photos are really blasting with color and seem to be perfectly balanced to me in the best way! You have nailed the panoramas! I noticed that your photos seem to all be very similar or maybe it is just that they all are connected through the colors that you chose to photograph. My favorite photo is #13. I like how you captured the water and light in the photo.
